Martin's Scarf
by Harry Wells
By using the linen stitch and three colorways, alternating between colorways in transition areas, this scarf looks woven with color gradations throughout.
This scarf was designed during the week of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, and is named for Martin Richard, the 8-year-old who died. I imagined what he might look like as a grown man, and designed this scarf for him.
