Like bark on a birch tree or woven shadows across the snow, Martta is a sweater that speaks through texture. The upper yoke, rich with rhythmic patterning and thoughtful shaping, draws the eye — turning simple stitches into beautiful ornaments.

Martta is worked top down in a soft blend of merino and mohair,
balancing bold detail with soothing stockinette.

The sweater is worked holding one strand of each yarn together.

Needles: US 2.5 / 3 mm and US 6 / 4 mm 32–40” / 80–100 cm circular needles and DPNS in each size if not using magic loop for small circumference knitting.
