Marvāo Slipover
Layers like a slipover are always welcome in my wardrobe, they ́re a perfect addition to every season, and can be knitted with any yarn weight. It’s like a woolly hug, warm and cozy or cool and fresh like a sea breeze,so there’s a lot of options to play with
For this one i chose a natural portuguese wool in a DK weight from Marvão which makes a light, but warm and comfy slipover, wearable for every ocassion.
The Marvão Slipover is knitted top down, starting from the back, with a few short rows to get a neat shoulderline.
Than the back is knitted straight to the armhole increases and afterwards they are done, the back stitches will be put on hold.
Fronts are made by picking up stitches from the back cast on edge.
Each one is knitted separate, they will gathered after the finished neckline and joining the back when armhole increases were made
