This very warm infinity scarf has been inspired by Season 1 of the Netflix Marvel series Jessica Jones. She can be seen in many episodes wearing a very well worn out gray infinity scarf that appears to be either a linen stitch or seed stitch.

This project is quite suitable for an advanced beginner or beyond. The linen stitch makes such a nice tightly woven fabric that does not curl.

The suggested yarn is perfect (Lion Brand’s Wool Ease), inexpensive and can be purchased at most big box craft stores. For a completely wool infinity scarf, try using lovely indie hand dyes or a wool blend from a LYS.

3-16-18: Correction in the Abbreviations to include ‘pw’ - meaning purlwise. Sorry, I forgot to add that abbreviation to the pattern; it has since been revised.
