100% of pattern sales are donated to Pancreatic Cancer Research to honour the memory of Mary Moreau. Thank you for your purchase!

The crochet version is a shoulder wrap shawl which makes it perfect to keep someone warm during their hospice stay.

The pattern includes a Knit and Crochet version.
When your shawl is completed there are detailed instructions to explain how you might donate your shawl to the hospice in your community.

The knitted version is a top down Faroese design: a shawl that has been worn for hundreds of years.

Completed, the shawl will look like angel wings.
Both patterns involve basic skills so that even the beginning crocheter/ knitter can participate.
Photographs accompany the instructions as well as video links to techniques used.
Each pattern includes options for fingering, dk and worsted weight yarns.
Best of all, every November, year after year, this pattern will be used in a month long “knit/crochet along” to continuously raise funds for pancreatic cancer research.
LYS in communities across the globe can participate, fundraise and donate dollars and finished shawls to their local hospice centres.

One shawl at a time, we each help find a cure for pancreatic cancer. Mary would have liked that.
