Wearing a mask isn’t fun to begin with but wearing it all day multiple days in a row can quickly create a lot of pain from rubbing on ears. These mask mates provide an alternative to attach the mask to behind the head, saving the ears of our frontline workers!

SIZE:
When finished, measures about 5 inches. This may vary based on gauge, but notes on how to adjust as needed.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:
-Small amount worsted weight yarn in color of choice
-(2) large buttons – 3/4 inch to 1 inch works best, below ½ inch may not hold mask
-Size H/5.00 hook
-Embroidery or Yarn Needle, Scissors

STITCHES/TECHNIQUES USED:
Pattern is in U.S. terms. Chain, half double crochet, single crochet, slip stitch.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL and TIME:
This pattern is super easy, even for beginners, and works up fast too! You can make multiple in just an hour after you get the hang of it!
