This is a free pattern for a face mask strap / ear saver.

My cousin, an ER nurse, asked me to make surgical mask straps for her and her fellow RNs, as their ears were getting sore and abraded from the constant need to wear a surgical mask. I came up with this easy crochet strap pattern. I used I Love This Cotton, but you can use any aran weight cotton yarn.

Supplies: Cotton yarn, Buttons, Yarn needle, Scissors, and a thinner yarn to sew on the buttons. I used a sport weight yarn to sew on the buttons.
