This pattern is gauge flexible, meaning that you can use any yarn weight to make this beanie! The pattern features a handy chart so that you can easily find the perfect stitch count for your preferred yarn.

The navy blue beanie was made using Malabrigo Arroyo held with two strands of kidsilk mohair. The gauge was 12st/10cm when working on 4.5mm needles.

The yellow beanie was made with Madelinetosh Merino light yarn, held double with a strand of kidsilk mohair. The gauge was 26st/10cm when working on 2.75mm needles.

The red beanie was also made with Madelinetosh Merino light, but with two strands of kidsilk mohair. The gauge was 16st/10cm on 3.5mm needles.

Your required yarn amount will vary depending on your chosen yarn, but for DK weight or any yarn lighter than DK, 100 grams of yarn will be enough, making this pattern a certified one-skein wonder! For heavier yarn weights, up to 200 grams may be required.
