I wanted to create a scarf in tunisian crochet which combined a couple of different stitches for visual interest and to have a fabulous fringe too. The idea of creating a border around the central section with honeycomb stitch comes form using the honeycomb as a foundation to prevent the start of the scarf from curling. The border is a lovely addition and then the foundation is repeated at the end to envelope the simple stitch down the middle.
I used one cake of the King Cole Harvest for this pattern and I think the stripes add to the overall effect.
This is my first written pattern so if you need any help or if there are any mistakes please feel free to message me.
