This simple cowl is worked in the round, with garter stitch bands top and bottom, a slightly rolled edge, and alternating stocking stich and simple colourwork. The pattern is very basic and I’d love for you to work in any of your own modifications. My finished piece weighs about 80g so it’s a great stash buster-use one contrast colour or multiple contrast colours. Make it smaller or larger in stitch multiples of 8 to fit how you would like. The gauge is only a rough guide and isn’t as critical to the finished piece as it is in garment knitting.
