The Mathilda Sweater is knitted top-down. First, the upper back is worked using short rows. Stitches are picked up on each side to shape the shoulders, which are then joined to form the front. The body is worked in the round with a colorwork motif on the front, and ends with a split and garter stitch edging. Stitches are then picked up for the neckline which is worked in the round. Finally, the sleeves are worked in the round with decreases and finished with a garter stitch cuff.

The white sweater in the pictures is a size medium.
