These socks will catch the eye of every non-knitter friend of yours, asking where on Earth did you buy those. Imagine seeing their amazed face when you answer that you made them yourself. Trust me, I’ve been there.
These are cuff-down knitted socks with a lace pattern knitted on the top of the leg. I used a turned heel in this pattern. My socks are knitted with Schachenmayr Regia Premium Silk 4-ply yarn, but any 4 ply yarn will do. One skein of yarn (100 g) should be enough to knit not only two socks but four! That means you can knit a pair for yourself and another for you friend using only one skein of yarn.
