A timeless knitted top that is worked from the top down, making it easy to adjust the length to your preference. The garment is designed as a versatile wardrobe staple – just as suitable for everyday wear as for more dressed-up occasions. The construction is simple yet yields a beautiful result.

Matilda Tee Junior is worked from the top down with raglan increases. The work is divided into sleeves and body, which are finished separately and completed with ribbing. Stitches are picked up for the neck rib, which is worked in the round and then bound off. We have included two different versions of the pattern to suit both beginners and more experienced knitters. If you want a simple, beginner-friendly pattern, choose Version 1. If you prefer a more refined pattern with thoughtful details, choose Version 2. The difference between the versions lies in the neck shaping, achieved with German short rows, and the ribbing. The simple version has no neck shaping and uses basic ribbing. The more advanced version includes neck shaping and more detailed ribbing.
