Matinée… the perfect necklace length for every occasion.

This cowl is the traditional length of a strand of jewels and worked in shades or tones of soothing sapphire, the warmth of ruby - who wouldn’t want another bauble or two?

Matinée is a tubular constructed cowl that can easily be doubled for infinity scarf. Tubular means no wrong sides and minimal finishing.

Worked in two different but complimentary yarns to enhance the design and alternating stocking stitch pearls worked on larger needles with openwork spacers on smaller needles.

If you choose to use YvieKnits Yarns mawata, you’ll need to tease the silk out to an approximate heavy DK / worsted weight. It will be well worth it!

To work a ‘double strand’ version of Matinée, you’ll need two skeins of the main colour.
