Matryoshka / Daruma Doll
This is an easy pattern for beginning crocheters.
Materials:
1/2 skein fingering weight yarn in yellow (MC), orange (CC), and red (ACC). (I used Baby Ull by Dale of Norway, which I found in my LYS. It’s 100% Merino Wool and comes in 180 yard skeins.)
A tiny bit of black yarn for accent
A tiny bit of white yarn to make the face.
1 G (4.25mm) crochet hook
1 yarn needle
2 black seed beads for eyes, or you can use safety eyes, or you can emboider.
Note: You can choose your own color scheme. For my alternate matryoshka, I used yellow, light blue, orange, green, and a little bit of red. For my Daruma doll, I used red, white, black, and a tiny bit of gold for trim. You will not need a full skein of yarn for any of them.
