If you’re a fan of fingerless mitts and unique cables, these may be the mitts for you. There are three distinct cables in the mitts. The center cable is quite striking and is bordered by a twisted cable. The underside cables are also quite unique. But if you are an experienced cable knitter, this one will be fun for you to both make and wear and will allow you to text, type and knit in style and warmth. The thumb gusset insures that you will be able to have full movement and be able to text, type and knit in style and warmth.

These mitts are knit using two circular needles, and all the stitches are both charted and written out line by line. The lateral stretch in these mitts insures a very good fit for almost anyone, however, they will come up higher on your arm if you are very thin, and lower if you are larger.

Skill Level: Intermediate + (assuming a basic knowledge of knitting, purling, cabling, and increasing and decreasing).

The sample was expertly pattern tested by Cathy B, who can be contacted at: hooksandstitcks@gmail.com, and is known on Ravelry as Cburke8013. The sample was knitted using Fiesta’s Baby Boom yarn, in colorway, Candy Apple Red.
