RECOMMENDED NEEDLES:
ALTERNATIVES 1 & 2: 7 mm UK 2 circular needle (40 cm 16 in) and double-pointed needles (or magic loop).
ALTERNATIVES 3 & 4: 6 mm US 10 circular needle (40 cm 16 in) and double-pointed needles (or magic loop).
Please note that the different yarn options will require different needle sizes in order to achieve the correct gauge. Always work a gauge swatch and wash it before beginning the project.

About The Pattern
MAUD HAT is worked top-down. Stitches are cast on at the crown center, after which regular increases are worked to shape the crown and head circumference. Once the desired circumference is reached, the brim is worked last.
