Muana Kea is a versatile knit with a number of possibilities…

The pink solid version is knit using Tickled (pink) on the Lyra base. This is a delightful yarn that not only drapes well in the stockinette portions, but offers lovely stitch definition on the sleeves, side panels and sweater bottom!

This pattern was originally knit as shown in stripes using a SpaceCadet Ombre Sweater Kit in Dark Skies for a perfectly organized striping ensemble with no guesswork on your part needed! The striped pattern is available when a MK Kit is purchased directly from Space Cadet Yarn only.

When you download this sweater pattern you will have all you need to create the pink sweater shown in the photos. Use it as a blank canvas for colour blocking or stripes of you own!

Pattern Highlights:
Mauna Kea is a top down, raglan pullover worked in the round from collar to bottom. Sweater front and back bottoms split and are worked back and forth for ribbed edge.

Sleeves knit in rib offer a flattering give and take fit. Want more give? They stretch beautifully to meet your needs. Don’t like extra bulk? They fit that bill as they draw in where you don’t need extra.
