Marvin and Mavis measure approx. 8” (21 cm) tall when using light worsted weight (DK/8 ply) yarn and a 3 mm hook (safety eye size 9 mm). The smaller monkeys pictured measure approx. 5 1/2” (14 cm) tall and use fingering weight (4 ply) yarn and a 1.75 mm hook (safety eye size 6 mm).

You will also need a 30 cm pipe cleaner/chenille stick for stuffing and shaping each monkey tail.
