The Mavis Vest is a v-neck tank with geometric filet detailing around the hem and cups. This classic silhouette makes it easy to pair with almost anything and the cotton yarn is light and breezy, making this top ideal for sunny days. The straps are wide enough to cover your usual bra straps, so there’s no need to go strapless unless you wish to!

The lower body is worked seamlessly in the round with a fun mesh pattern and the cups are worked flat. It’s really easy to adjust the length of Mavis to suit your preferred fit.

It is an intermediate pattern, but I encourage confident beginners to have a go!

Bust sizes given as XS (S, M, L, XL, 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X): 80 (90, 101, 112, 122, 133, 143, 154, 165) cm requiring 375 (432, 490, 554, 603, 670, 749, 831, 937) metres of DK-weight cotton yarn (any plant fibre will achieve a similar drape).

This pattern is available in both UK & US terminology so you don’t have to translate stitches!
