Enjoy a wonderfully simple yet satisfying quick knit with Maxie’s Socks! These socks are knitted from the cuff down, so you can incorporate as many stripes and colors as you like. This pattern works well with both DK and worsted-weight yarn; however, using worsted-weight yarn will result in denser socks. We used Sugar Maple as the main yarn and undyed yarn as the contrast color.

plus an additional 20-30 yards / 18-27 meters for stripes

Gauge: 22 sts x 34 rounds in stockinette = 4” / 10 cm after wet blocking, unstretched

Needles:

• 32” / 80 cm circular needles in the size needed to obtain gauge (recommended size is US 5 /3.75 mm)

• A set of 5 DPNs in the same size as the circular needles
