Use 1 skein for the small size using size 5 needles (shown in white/beige multi color 167), or 2 skeins for the large size (brown version uses 1-1/8 skeins approximately 450 yds), which will be the same pattern with additional repeats of the edging. You can knit this as long as you like because it it top-down.
