May Garden Socks
These socks are knit from the top down with an Afterthought heel. Although the pattern appears to be very detailed, as you knit along with the chart—including the checkerboard pattern—the pattern gradually reveals itself, and you will find it hard to stop knitting.
This design was inspired by the forest poppy.
