May is my birthday month so I’ve gone for my favourite style sock, a simple double roll top (no ribbing here!) that sits just above the ankle bone. Using just 20g of the contrast colour its a perfect way to use up some of that stash or left overs

Difficulty

Knitting from the top down with a double roll, a heel flap and ending with a round toe these are based on my basic sock pattern so are super easy to follow. Written in three circumference sizes just follow Small (S), Medium (M) or Large (L) throughout the pattern.

Materials Needed

4ply sock yarn, 40g / 160 meters / 175 yards main colour (MC) and 20g / 85 meters / 93 yards of the contrast (CC) - I’ve used Cuddlebums Sock Yarn

Needles: Two sets 2.5mm double pointed needles (minimum 7 needles needed)

Three moveable stitch markers, sewing up needle for grafting and scissors

Sizes

With three circumference sizes, 19 cm / 7.5 inches, 21.5 cm / 8.5 inches and 24.5 cm / 9.5 inches together with a link to length sizing these are truly a fit all kind of sock.

Whilst this pattern has been tested and checked we are all human so if you find any problems with it please let me know. Happy Knitting!
