This pattern includes a step-by-step description of how to crochet a square of the specified size. It can be used as a napkin or dishcloth. Or it can be part of something larger, assembled from squares - such as a patchwork quilt or cardigan.

However, this pattern is one that can be continued ad infinitum. Turn it into a square blanket, pillowcase, bag, rug or tablecloth using matching yarn. At the end of the pattern, you will find a guide for how to do it.

Size of ready-made square (non-blocked; after washing): 10.7x10.7 in (27x27 cm).

Yarn: 2.29 oz / 170 yd (65 g / 156 m) - a bit more than 1 ball - of Adriafil Duo Comfort yarn (DK size): 52% lana (merino extra fine) and 48% cotton; color #55. This yarn is smooth to the touch and gives a distinct stitch texture. Very soft and pleasant to the touch. A great choice for a baby blanket, for example! Just make as much squares as needed and sew them with mattress invisible seam.
Hand wash in cool water, no spin, dry flat.
Hook: 4 mm, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Scissors, stitch marker, tape measure are also needed.

Stitches used: slip stitch, chain, single crochet, double crochet, front post double crochet, chainless starting double crochet,chainless starting front post double crochet.
