MAYBE, BABY is an asymmetrical crescent shawl worked from the top down, featuring sweeping bands of texture and the impression of swirling movement.

The textured wedges are created with short rows that are smoothly incorporated into the stitch pattern. A bold border in a contrasting color accentuates the asymmetrical beauty of this shawl and continues the short row textured wedges. The shawl is finished with a graduated picot bind off for extra visual interest.

The easy to remember stitch pattern and intuitive design make for a relaxing and enjoyable knitting experience.

Yardage Required:
Main Color: approximately 460 yards
Contrast Color: approximately 190 yards

The sample used one entire skein of Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light for the main body. TML skeins tend to weigh over 100g and contain more than the labeled 420 yards. If your gauge matches the sample, you may need only one skein of TML. It is advised to have a second skein if your gauge differs or to ensure that you have enough yarn.
