Maymade Socks
The Maymade Socks are cosy, warm, and versatile felted socks, perfect for keeping your feet comfortable at home or on outdoor adventures. These socks are knit using the Magic Loop technique and worked from the cuff down, featuring a short-row heel for a snug fit and a rounded toe.
If you’re new to techniques like German short rows or Magic Loop, there are many great tutorials available on YouTube to guide you. Stay tuned for future Maymade Knits tutorials on YouTube, specifically made for my patterns!
This listing is for a digital knitting pattern (PDF) – no physical item will be shipped. The pattern is beginner-friendly, with clear and detailed instructions to guide you through the process.
Size guide
If you have large feet (e.g. size 47/48) but slim calves and feet, you can follow the pattern for size 41/42, but follow the number of rounds (length) for the shaft and foot in your size. If, on the other hand, you have small feet (e.g. size 37/38) but wide calves and feet, you can follow the pattern for size 43/44, but follow the number of rounds (length) for the shaft and foot in your size. Note: In this example, you must also knit the foot 2 rounds shorter than it says in size 37/38, as the toe is 2 rounds longer in size 43/44.
