McCallister beanie is inspired by Kevin McCallister’s beanie in the classic Christmas movie Home Alone (1990).

The beanie is knitted from the bottom up with rib first. Then the color-work patterns are knitted and the number of stitches is adjusted between the patterns. The beanie is finished by reducing the number of stitches in the base color before it is gathered together at the top. Finally, a pompom is made and attached to the top. It is recommended to felt the hat lightly so that it becomes denser and warmer. The sizes overlap in circumference, as the final result will depend on how much it is felted.

Head measurement approx. 51-58 cm, and approx. 54-60 cm, depending on how much it is felted
