A traditional Fair Isle beanie perfect for experimenting with Shetland colors or making the most of all those leftover half-skeins of yarn. The design uses nine colors in stranded knitting in the round, with a two-color cast-on and corrugated ribbing. Seven colors use approximately a quarter skein, while two colors require a half skein in Shetland Spindrift. Four suggested colorways are included with the pattern.

The gauge provided results in a medium/large hat with a 23” circumference. For a large/extra large hat, using larger needles for a gauge of 30 sts x 39 rnds will result in a hat with a 24” circumference.
