These socks are a pleasure to knit and wear! The front panel, featuring faux cable rows, adds visual interest with minimal fuss—the cables add stretch for an extra-comfortable fit. You can knit up a pair of Meadowsweet anklets in no time at all.

This pattern is intended to fit adult woman’s sizes; the length of the cuff and foot are easily adjustable for a longer/taller sock, and adjustments to the circumference can be achieved by going up or down a needle size.

The sample pictured here fits a US women’s size 7–8 and used one 50-gram skein of fingering weight sock yarn, which makes this a perfect project if you have small skeins of sock yarn. Knit using a set of four US size 3 double-pointed needles (or size to obtain gauge). Darning needle needed for finishing.

Designer’s Note:

This pattern includes a faux cable design that calls for increasing 2 stitches in one stitch. To “inc 2 sts
knitwise in next st” follow these steps:

Step 1: knit into the front loop (do not let the stitch fall off the needle)
Step 2: then knit into the back of the same stitch (again, do not let it fall off the needle)
Step 3: finally, knit into the front of the same stitch again.
