Inspiration for this blanket came from the many happy holidays spent in Spain and Portugal.

The colour of blue and yellow, along with white remind me of the many older and some modern buildings , A truly Mediterranean vibe.

There are charts (with the X ‘S) showing the 3 designs, along with written row by row for each design.
Pattern written for this size of blanket, but can easily be adjusted to any size, you can also change order of the designs, using only one , two or all three.

This blanket can be worked in any yarn, with corresponding hook size.

I used Deramores Studio Aran 3.50z/100g - 180yds/165m

Main body of blanket - 5 skeins in Pineapple, 4 skeins in Persian blue
If doing a double border - 2 skeins of Pineapple, 1 skein of Persian blue

900yds/825g - 1260yds/1155g in colour A
720yds/660g - 900yds/825g in colour B

Finished size : without a border
approx. 33 1/2 inches/85 CMS wide -
39 1/2 inches/105 CMS high

with border: 36 1/2 inches/93 CMS Wide
43 inches/109 CMS high
