Medvind is an oversized sweater with dropped European shoulders (the shoulder seam is placed at the Back of the sweater and not on the shoulders) and it has a special neckline in 1x1 rib and double knitted edges.
The neckline is called a swan-neckline or a tulip-neckline and it’s a split neckline/collar with curved front lines and a mock-turtleneck at the back. This neckline is one of the most wearable for (almost) all of us according to old knitting books from the 40’ies. It prolongs our neck.
The sweater is worked top-down in Half Fisherman’s Rib and with dropped-sleeves and a lot of I-cords to prevent the sweater to grow.

Medvind comes in sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
Corresponding to sizes XS (S, M, L/XL, 2XL, 3XL) with ease at body and narrow sleeves. Don’t be afraid of the positive ease! Fisherman’s Rib pattern is a lovely but also lively stitch pattern and it crops and stretches out but the I-cords keep the sweater in shape
The shown sample is size 3 (worn with approx 38 cm/15” of positive ease at body) and it has sleeve length. 44cm/17.25” total.

Medvind has finished bust circumference: 113 (121, 129, 137, 145, 153) cm/44.5 (47.5, 50.75, 54, 57, 60.25)”.
