Meehan, this crescent shaped shawl is knitted top down and ever increasing right down to the bottom undulating lace border. The shawl is a classic, you’ll love creating and of course wearing it. The lace is understated.

The blocked shawl measures 71.5” in overall length and 18” in middle height when knitted to gauge.

The pattern is fully written and offers a lace chart.

Yarn used
C1 - A Yarnology skein with 238 yards in 7 color, texture and weight changes. Fibers range from cotton, linen rayon and blends thereof.
C2 - A skein of Bambon. 154 yards in a blend of bamboo and cotton, a DK weight yarn.

Notions needed
US 10 (6 mm) circular needle 36” (91 cm) in length.
Darning needle for finishing.

Gauge
7 sts and 10 rows in 2“ of stockinette stitch.

Techniques applied
Knitting and purling flat, increasing, color changes, lace knitting, binding off, weaving in ends and blocking for best results.
