This crocheted meerkat captures by its realistic appearance. The toy can stand with the help of its tail like they do in the wild.

The pattern requires medium crocheting and sewing skills, as well as involves some simple work with craft wire and glue. It includes a few illustrations that show how to perform some elements.

In the pattern two types of black yarn are used, because the tail and ears look better when fluffy, wheras the nose doesn’t.
You may crochet with one type of black yarn if you prefer.

The suggested hooks make crocheting quite tight, i.e. you may want to choose bigger hooks.

✅ The pattern has been successfully tested.
