Knit in the round, the Meet Cute Cowl brings Seed and Brioche stitch together in perfect harmony. Knit with three colors, the Brioche sections make the color transition delightfully squishy.

The fit of Meet Cute is quite snug (see Finished Measurements). For a more open cowl, simply cast-on more stitches. As long as you have an even number, the stitch pattern will work. Note that if you make your cowl larger, you will probably need more yarn.

Yarn: DK weight. Total yarn needed: 450 yards (411 m),195 g (6.9 oz). You will need 150 yards (137 m), 65g (2.3oz) in three different colors.

Suggested Yarn: The Farmer’s Daughter Fibers Craggy Tweed: 231 yards (211 m) per 100g (3.5 oz) skein. 1 skein each of Elk Antler (C1), Dumplin (C2), and York (C3).

Suggested Needles: US 6 (4.0 mm), 16” (40.5 cm) circular needle AND US 8 (5.0 mm) needle for the bind-off. DPNs or a longer circular for magic loop are also fine.

Notions: One stitch marker needed for BOR and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Finished Measurements (after blocking): Circumference - 22” (59 cm), length - 19” (48 cm).
