Hello Outlaw Yarn Queen Bee! How I have fallen in love with you and your big squishy awesomeness.

What a wonderful thing it is to snuggle under a big chunky soft hand knit blanket, so it was no stretch of imagination to turn the big soft and full hanks of pure NZ wool into a large cuddly blanket. The trick was to make knitting this size manageable, smaller pieces to work on and introduce fun colour ways too.

Although this looks like separate squares sewn together, it is not this at all. I was worried about how bulky a seam might be, and instead created this pattern as a complete one piece knit. Plus I don’t like sewing… don’t judge me :)

This pattern is suitable for beginner plus knitters who can knit, purl, cast on and off, pickup stitches from the edge, and follow a pattern. Lets get big!
