This light, lacy cowl is the perfect piece for early spring. With its uncomplicated lace pattern and its soothing intervals of stockinette and garter stitch, this is a good project for both the beginner and experienced knitter.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 22¼“ circumference x 16” high.

YARN: 350 yds sportweight or heavy fingering weight wool or wool blend.
Shown in Crave Yarn “Caravan” (70% SW Fine Merino, 10% Camel, 10% Cashmere, 10% Mulberry Silk; 354 yds /100 g) - Nuance.

NEEDLES: U.S. size 6 (4mm) 16” circular needle.
Adjust needle size as needed to obtain correct gauge.

OTHER: Stitch marker, tapestry needle.

GAUGE: 23 sts = 4” in stockinette.

SKILL LEVEL: Advanced beginner. Techniques include long tail cast on, knitting in the round, decreases, and yarnovers.
