These socks are my love song to Melbourne laneways. The bluestone cobblestone laneways of inner Melbourne are an expression of street art, a connection to heritage and just a convenient way to duck between major streets.

These socks are mainly plain knitting with just an edge of texture, just like many streets in Melbourne still have a bit of cobblestone along the side.
You’ll be flying along with this easy pattern, which is also perfect for mixing it up on pooling, wildly variegated yarns.
So embrace your inner hipster and go for it!

This pattern is knit from the toe up with notes for an afterthought heel (but not heel instructions).

Available in three sizes, Small (56 stitches), medium (64 stitches), large (72 stitches) circumference, with variable length.

The pattern is written instructions only.
