Mellemlag cardigan = midlayer cardigan is a lightweight cardigan that is a layer between the inner layer and outerwear. The optional stripes are also layered on top of each other.
Use this cardigan as a buttoned blouse and not as a jacket.

The cardigan is worked top down, with a European shoulder construction and options to not only work both the length of body and sleeves but also the neckline, ribbings and button bands as desired.

The cardigan is designed to have a positive ease of approx 10-30cm/4-12” at body circumference.
Note! The recommended positive ease varies depending on size. Calculate a positive ease of approx 20-30 cm 8-12” for sizes 1-4 and approx 10-20 cm 4-8” for sizes 5-7. Be aware that the shoulder width is wide to allow the sleeves to start part way down the arm.
