This pattern is a stranded colorwork cowl, knit in the round from the bottom up, with twisted ribbing along both ends. With mix and match motifs, it allows the knitter to choose their own aesthetic!

This cowl is inspired by bees and the value they provide our ecosystem. Centering on humble honey bees, bordered by pollinating flowers, the colorwork transitions into hexagonal repeats full of floral motifs. The honeycomb builds up, like a bee building up a hive.
