Mellit (old Scots, meaning ‘hand’)

Stylish yet practical, these fingerless mittens are the perfect winter accessories. The richly textured pattern gently combines your yarns together and the fun stripes on the palms give a playful edge. Extra long cuffs can be folded up for added warmth or down when you need your fingers to be free. Twisted rib adds a snug fit around the wrist while standard rib allows for extra flexibility needed for your fingers.

Choose bold contrasting colours for a pair of statement mitts or opt for something a little more muted for a winter classic. These mitts are so fun and quick to make you could have a few pairs to match with your winter wardrobe.

Includes a free pattern showing you how to turn your swatch into a coin purse / notions case.
