Mellyrn cardigan
This wonderful, romantic cardigan features an intricate design of delicate flowers and branches. With its cozy texture and nature-inspired elements, this cardigan offers both comfort and timeless style.
The cardigan is mostly worked in the round from bottom to top. Only from the neck upwards is the body worked back and forth. The sleeves, except for the sleeve caps, are also worked in the round. Steeks are used for the armholes and the front of the cardigan.
The colourwork chart is large and doesn’t repeat very often, which makes it a bit more challenging to knit.
This cardigan is a project for the more experienced knitter.
Techniques used:
-stranded colourwork knitting (both in the round and flat)
