I designed these socks for a friend, Mel, as she wanted an easy pattern for her first attempt to knit socks.

For my second pair, I decided to add some random stripes and to knit ankle socks in size EU38.5. After the heel, I knit the transition part and the ribbing. I knitted 2 rounds in another colour from time to time and did blogs of colour. I used 50g (25g per colour) for both socks.

It’s great for all these beloved leftovers.
Feel free to add some stripes or to knit the toe and the ribbing in a different colour.

You can also vary the length of the foot and leg to your desired measurements. I decided to knit them short this time ;)
