The Melting Rainbow Mitts were inspired to accompany the Melting Rainbow Cowl. They take the colourwork pattern used in both the cowl and the socks design to create a cute pair of handwarmers.

Knit in the round from the cuff, with a side gore thumb. The pattern has written instruction for magic loop but can easily be adapted to dpn’s or a short circular needle. There are charts for the colourwork. Please read all instructions before commencing pattern.

I used muted rainbow colours but the possibilities are endless. Perfect for all those mini skeins and leftovers.

To fit approx.: Hand Circumference/Length
Measured around widest point of the palm, just beneath the knuckles. Do not include thumb.

Needles: 2.75 mm (US 2) 80cm circular needle for using magic loop method or dpns (or size needed to get gauge).

(This is a guide and will depend on your gauge and length of cuff you choose to knit.)
