Memento mori is a latin phrase meaning ‘remember that you have to die’. These mittens feature a deer skull, fungus that feed on decaying materials and plants that grow better with the nutrients from decomposed animal tissue. It’s macabre, but also a small reminder to live while you can.

Size: 1, 2
Size 1 would fit snugly on most people who consider themselves to have medium hands. Choose the bigger size for a looser fit or for people with larger hands.

Needles: 3.5 mm and 4.5 mm
Gauge: 24 stitches = 10 cm

Yarn: DK weight yarn
You’ll need 100 grams of colour 1 and 50 grams of colour 2.
Samples knit in Sandnes Garn Peer Gynt (90 meters per 50 grams). 100% norwegian wool.
