El jersey Mencía se teje sin costuras de arriba a abajo usando agujas circulares.
Después de tejer el cuello, se hacen algunas vueltas cortas a un lado y a otro para conseguir un escote más alto por detrás y más bajo por delante.
Tiene manga ranglan y al llegar al largo de sisa, las mangas y el cuerpo se separan y se hacen por separado en redondo hasta llegar a los elásticos.

The Mencía sweater has raglan sleeve, is worked in the round, seamless, from top to bottom, using circular needles.
