Meet Meni Me! Between the swirls that have been swirling in my head, and the sudden onset of an out-of-nowhere rollercoaster of “temperature spikes” (I am 2 1/2 years away from the big 5-0, if you know what I mean ;0) I am also a lifelong Washington state girl (born and raised!) and have , literally, LIVED in beanies more than half the year, for most of my life. So, with my barometer going slightly haywire, these days, and the panic setting in (realizing that I just cannot see a world without my beautiful beanies!) I went STRAIGHT to my stash, grabbed my needles, and began my mission: a fabulous beanie…with built-in “Meni” A/C! Who doesn’t always love the best of both worlds, anyway? It truly makes my day when I get to see photos of Ravelers knitting my designs. So, by all means, blast me with any and all photos! I also love adding them to my publications! Top edging: 6.5 stitches per inch.
Body: 5.5 stitches per inch.
Bottom edging: 6 stitches per inch.

• Up to up to 231 yds/100g of Yarnitoli DK (up to 40 yds CC for a 2-toned top and bottom edge!)
• Size US5 & US6 16-inch circular needles
• Size US7 16-inch, 20-inch, or 32-inch circular needles (for working the bottom edge, flat, to achieve that gorgeous split edge!)
• Size US8 DPN (for bind-off!)
• Up to 59 size 6/0 (or 7/0) beads (optional)
• Darning needle
• Stranding needle (for beads)
