A quick pattern for making that last minute gift! The same pattern can be used to make Men’s fingerless gloves (use a Super Bulky yarn) or Women’s fingerless gloves (use Bulky yarn). Although I’ve not tried it, a lighter weight yarn (Worsted) and smaller needles (8-9?) would probably produce youth gloves, too.

  • Gauge for Super Bulky is 11 st. x 16 rows = 4”
  • Gauge for Bulky is 12 st. x 17 rows = 4”

Tip: You can use 2 strands of worsted/Aran held together to create super bulky gauge. Doing so will open up a ton of color combinations! See the red/gray Ohio State sample photo!

In order to give more definition to the ribbing, I used a twisted ribbing along the top, bottom and the entire thumb. If you prefer, you could use a standard ribbing instead.

For a fast, chunky, ribbed scarf to go along with these fingerless gloves…. click here to take a look at the Ring that Bell! Scarf. It’s a flexible pattern that uses a variety of yarn weights!
