The Merci Cardigan is a beautiful, timeless cardigan with that little extra something. The cardigan is as light as a feather, soft, and comfortable to wear. It has a wide and cropped fit, but it can easily be adjusted to the desi- red length. It is knitted from the top down, back and forth in stockinette stitch, with a beautiful lace pattern on the front.

Stitches are first increased for the body, then for the sleeves, and finally in- creases are worked on both the sleeves and the body with raglan increases. Short rows are worked using the German short rows technique to make the cardigan a little longer in the back, which gives it a comfortable fit. The sleeves have a bit of a wide/ straight shape, and are knitted straight down, which creates little balloon sleeves.
