Mercury Shawl
You´ll want this shawl in all your favorite colours and it is easy to play around with. Make it in a size you prefer. Make one in scrap yarn or in just one colour. The sky is the limit.
Size: One size
Measurements: Wingspan: Approx. 109 cm /43”. Depth: Approx. 44 cm / 17.5”
Suggested yarn: Sägen Light Fe from Elkmarket Yarn. 100 g = 400 m. Colours: Midsommar and Underjord
Yarn: MC: 60g, CC: 25g. With 1 skein / colour you can get two shawls with reversed colours.
The grey and red shawl is knitted in a sport weight yarn 100g = 335m and I used 75g of MC and 30g of CC.
Suggested needles: 3.25 mm (US3) circular needle 75 cm / 30”. Knitting back and forth.
Gauge: 21 sts x 36 rows in stockinette sts, back and forth, blocked
Notions: 2 stitch markers, scissors and a tapestry needle to weave in ends.
~ This is a triangle shawl that starts at the middle of the upper edge.
~ You can continue and make this shawl as big as you prefer.
